dude, most probably as an ide interface, it is supported but not as a raid device. i use promise tx2, with its proprietary drivers which present the "raided" disks as scsi, /dev/sd* to the rest of the operating system. i think jijo and ian are using 3ware escalade for ide raid, and from what i read, they're happy about it.
