yap! i can give you a copy of those. Well stick with the one you're familiar with. And about desktop? RedHat 8 is cool at desktop, http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,3959,633867,00.asp
about slackware and debian, its a good linux distro too, stick with redhat and master it, then the transition to slackware and debian will be more easier(redhat is more friendly)! about *BSD, its a cool UNIX variant. i love the stack tuning. it will be great if you have a small LAN in your home and build all unices you wanna try. LINUX on the other BSD on the other solaris, etc...
I'll be able to reserve you a copy. I can drop by at MegaMall or Shangrila after offiice, usually 6:30-7:00 pm. i can give it to you probably monday to wednesday coz i'll be out on thursday to sunday next week. (have to relax in that weekend, i'll be home at my province)... email me anytime if you like.
jeff...
Hello Jeffrey,
Interesado rin ako sa mga Linux cd's mo. What do you recommend for home
use? Im fairly familiar with RedHat and using 7.2. Im thinking of
upgrading to RH 8.0. Is Slackware difficult? How about Debian? Interesado
rin ako sa FreeBSD but im short of time. How i wish to try them all.
Can you reserve me RH8, FreeBSD and Debian cds? About the collection date
and payment, will contact u by email. Please reply if you can arrange
this. TIA.
