Just let me know when you're going to start being specific, please.

Hint:  "While logged in as the root user, I typed "XFree86 -probeonly",
and the following happened...."  Also, look in /var/log for
XFree86.0.log .

It's entirely possible that in some other universe, you can get
effective technical assistance by saying "I tried that, and it didn't
work", but not in this one.
