Yes boss!

I think you were the one who wasn't able to understand what I was trying
to say. I provided some examples based on RPM way. Yes, if you
installed packages from source chances are it's REALLY a pain to
maintain. I also provided an example that what if you need to upgrade
the packages you installed from source? How will you upgrade your 50
servers per location? My example was about upgrading some packages but
if you tried to understand it also correctly, it will also apply if you
installed the packages from source and you did it thru "make install".

Now, I also disagree that it is only applicable for the enterprise
servers not unless you don't care for your home PCs. Again, what I
posted was an example in RPM packages. It would be worst if your
packages were installed from source and again, you did it thru "make
install".

Hhmmm... I think there are people in this list that are already "HB".

If you will try to understand what I posted "Good luck distro
advocates! =) hehehe...", it's not really a part of the thread or shall
I say, it's not part of my response to the thread but rather a sort of a
"complimentary closing". Probably, you will flamed me if my
"complimentary closing" was "Happy Holidays!", "Keep cool!", "Ciao!", or
any other that is not related to this thread noh? =)

Just for the sake of some people from this list who might misunderstood
(again) my last line of this message...

Respectfully yours,
