The steps you provided are the standard steps in creating an ssh (shell)
account.  Surely, if I need ssh over say, pop3, I'd still have to edit
some config file on the server or something?  Anyway, it seems really
easier than I thought, so I'm gonna mess around with ssh tunneling on my
free time.
