we did this also (back in the telnet OPAC days) when we were still using the TINLIB library system. we just edited the /etc/shadow and left the password field for our opac user blank. and created opac's own .bash_profile -- When you innovate, you've got to be prepared for everyone telling you you're nuts! --larry ellison _____________________________________________________________ Are you a student of MSU-IIT?
