Is this really a bug in Mandrake 9?:

1. When I try to change removable media (cd,diskette..) the second or
third time I change and view the content, it's no longer readable or
there's an error. I have to reboot to be able to view the content of the
disk again. This is not happening in RedHat. Also, if you remove the
icon shortcut of the media from your desktop, and mount it on command
line it says only root can mount it, even though I change the option to
owner in /etc/fstab.

2. Trying to change the source media so I can install packages using
rpmdrake does not work. It can't update. This only happens when you do
not use full install, that why three CD's are not included in the list,
adding the remaining CD's will gives me a lot of headache.

Any idea?
