The Department of Computer Science (DCS) of University
of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) together with the UP
Cursor will hold its annual CS Week this coming 17 -21
of February 2003 at the College of Engineering. We, students of CS 197
(Professional Ethics in
Computer Science) and CS 296 (Open Source) will
participate by organizing a one day event, the Open
Source Event. There will be a talk regarding Open Source
Software (OSS), and the Accepted Use Policy on
Information and Communications Technology of the
University of the Philippines (AUP).
In line with this, we would like to invite your
prestigious company to partake in this grandeur
event by being one of our sponsors. In particular,
we are in need of Linux installers, and other promotional items
that will be used as raffle items, and souvenirs for
our guest speakers, respectively.

by Prof. Rommel Feria. In return, we would be including
