Dual-booting instructions could be found at tldp.org (one of many, try searching for it in google and you will get a decent number of hits). Or you could also use this for the idea and some basics -> http://www.mandrakeusers.org/docs/install/i3boot.html.
For simple questions you could try posting at the ph-linux-newbie mailing lists where you have a better chance of not being flamed (not that it happens here frequently but just to be on the safe side :D ).
