Dual-booting instructions could be found at tldp.org (one of many, try
searching for it in google and you will get a decent number of hits). Or
you could also use this for the idea and some basics ->
http://www.mandrakeusers.org/docs/install/i3boot.html.

For simple questions you could try posting at the ph-linux-newbie
mailing lists where you have a better chance of not being flamed (not
that it happens here frequently but just to be on the safe side :D ).

And finally for some basic netiquette

Have fun with your linux adventures.

ciao!

Hi guys,

I'm not sure if this is the proper forum for this, as I am not
sure as to the simplicity or complexity of the matter, but here goes.
I'd like to install dual boot windows 2k and Red Hat 8.0 on a new pc.
Where can I find the info oh how to go about it so I can install both
OSs and have them working ? If this is too basic for this forum, can
someone kindly point me in the right direction and I'll ask the question
there. Thanks !

Thanks a ton,

Serge
