Ahh, I changed my mind. Gonzales may not know much about Linux and the Open Source Movement. He may be just taking a pragmatic approach.
If it will help, make references to the case of "Kochi Free Software User's Group & the [EMAIL PROTECTED] Program" that happened in India. I trust that it still can be found in the searchable archives? And as mentioned further down this thread, create some serious studies and gather materials. I gather we will all put together effort collecting materials, info, case studies, etc? Now won't that be something? Short of changing the world? =) Art On Friday 21 February 2003 13:12, you wrote: > On Fri, 21 Feb 2003 12:51:02 +0800 > > "CG Haravata" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > whoa! stop right there, people. it is possible that he doesn't know > > anything about Linux, that's why he wanted it studied further. probably > > what openminds (or plug, for that matter) can do is help him along in > > this getting-to-know-Linux process... whaddyathink? > > Maybe what we can do is find out who or which committee is making the paper > and provide them with materials that have been published or released on the > Internet. > > Alternatively, someboby from PLUG can create a white paper and submit it to > NCC. > > Somebody should also monitor when this paper will be coming out and to > provide PLUG copies of it. > > > Holden _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
