Weve done it using an Intel Dialogics card which we purchased from Planet Internet. Dialogics provides a C/C++ API that is portable in Linux, Solaris, Windows etc... The best part is, you only have to write the program once and it will seamlessly scale from two telephone lines to thousands for call centers.
