Hello Ricky!

Don't despair. We love to use our Linux boxen as server or desktop
environments. This mailing list will help experts and newbies alike.

I am an intermediate Linux user, and it doesn't really matter much if I run
the graphical user interface or not to accomplish something. I am equally
comfortable with right-clicking a folder in Konqueror and typing in the
fill-in boxes to change file ownership, or using the command line "chown". I
learn so much from all the experts and newbies here at the PLUG. Horray for
the PLUG!

A lot of experts here also love doing the normal tasks a desktop user will do,
like listening to music encoded in mp3 or Ogg Vorbis format. These experts
also love using Linux as an appliance, with the added bonus of looking inside
that appliance and tinkering with it.

Feel at home Ricky. Welcome to the wonderful world of Linux.
