Most of the subscribers to both lists are Sys Ads but this does not mean however that you can not talk about Linux on the desktop on the lists. The way I see it the Sys Ads are just the most active as of the moment. This I think is relative to the fact that linux is first being adopted in the server rooms of most offices rather than in the desktop. I believe that it is not yet time to create a separate list because traffic for such has not yet been observed. But please do post your desktop questions here.
