i think that any (new) CPU currently available in the market will be able
to serve your needs, whether it be a Willamette Celeron, a Duron (soon to
be phased out), an Athlon XP, or Pentium 4 Northwood. I suggest you just go
with the best price-performance ratio (e.g. Athlon XP 2000+, in my opinion)
or whatever you can afford.
