43.2kbps GPRS speed. It's a non-starter. 0.25/kB = 250 pesos PER MEGABYTE. Since a dialup (ordinary) can download ~ 3Mb/hour, that's the equivalent of 750 PESOS PER HOUR. Mag-Instanet ka nalang. :D AZcom starspeed 400kbit downlink for 18k pesos/month. Very erratic service though. Want C-band duplex satellite? about 40k/month gets you 32kbit (CIR) 128kbit (burst). That's the cheapest. Talk to Textron, their rate is a bit higher (~ 50k/month for 64k). --- Orlando Andico <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mosaic Communications, Inc. -- Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Official Website: http://plug.linux.org.ph Searchable Archives: http://marc.free.net.ph .
