Yeahwell, hardly matters. I mean, if my upstream SMTP were in an RBL, it's as good as blocked everywhere. Imagine trying to send mail to some destinations that have your upstream SMTP in an RBL, others not. How would you send to those paranoid SMTPs? > siguro sa mga trigger-happy SBLs like SPEWS and osirusoft. Is pretty bad, can't even send mail from my info.com.ph mailbox to my own techie.com mailbox >:( <rant> For that matter, I've found some of my mail blocked, I guess because I'm using my own sendmail service, and the reverse DNS lookup fails. I personally find those mail adminstrators lazy, because it's not just the failed reverse DNS lookup that should determine spam. I don't mind being *suspected* of sending spam, it's the outright conviction (possibly leading to deleted mail) that gets me all worked up. </rant> > > I've got clients on PLDT dsl, and sure enough, lots of items in the mail > > queue which were rejected by mozcom :) > > aww alright. konti lang naman talaga spam galing sa PLDT. How about Infocom? I think smtp.info.com.ph is on SPEWS's RBL, w/c I find extremely annoying.
