I create a network boot disk and was successful booting on the said floppy disk thru the USB floppy drive. But when I was prompt for the driver disk, it prompts me an error message: Failed to mount floppy. It seems like it cannot mount USB floppy drive when I try to install the driver disk. Seems like theres a problem mounting the USB floppy as /dev/sda.
you've successfully booted from a USB floppy since the device was handled by BIOS and you cant mount the device due to the absence of the necessary kernel modules such as usbxxx, usbyyy, etc.
