You can do all of these if you're using a kernel with XFS support
patches (I think there's no need for a patch on 2.6) and an partition
with a XFS as the file system.

I think Red Hat 9 already has this (or was it the beta only for Red Hat
9), but they're using extensions to Ext3/Ext2 instead of XFS.
