hi.
i was happily using mozilla mail as my mail client until yesterday when i was
suddenly unable to connect to our server. it keeps on saying "Connection to
server x timed out." i checked with out mail admin and he told me that there are
no stale process that would deny my connection. i even tried adding new accounts
but with the same result. then i tried using evolution on my machine and lo!, it
worked.
but ofcourse i wouldn't want close the topic without knowing what went wrong
with mozilla-mail. i encountered the "ECN" topic. though still unfamiliar, i
tried echoing "0" to /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_ecn (that's what the author
suggested) and... nope, it didn't worked for me. i would certainly want to make
use of mozilla-mail. could someone help me out on this? any ideas?
thanks.
