Its true, in my network I just masquerade port 25 & 110 of my entire network block and not all the ports using the ff. iptable rules: iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -p tcp -s 192.168.10.0/24 --dport 25 -j MASQUERADE iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -p tcp -s 192.168.10.0/24 --dport 110 -j MASQUERADE And have my port 80 transproxied to port 3128 where my Dansguardian is waiting before Squid.
