We got the same problem, we downloaded the beta copy Conexant HSF Fax modem,
but there's a certain restriction in usage details as follows:
1. you can only set your modem to 14.4 kpbs although it is 56 kbps
2. you cannot use the fax capability of your modem unless you buy the driver
for it.
