The CD will serve as an installation CD of the existing linux box you have which is very useful during disater . You can even choose wether the CD you will create is a backup OS only or the entire distro itself - includes all programs installed. Then again, before running the utility, you can edit the Config.sh if you wish to exclude some directories druing the process of making the iso image.

Can rsync perform a complete disk drive replication process, say if you want to have an exact copy of a hard disk and your target (backup) disk isn't partitioned/formatted yet?
