module-init-tools (the module utilities for 2.6.x kernels)
modutils is for 2.4.x kernels I think judging from what it said on the
slackware webpage.....
it came in a package named :
module-init-tools-0.9.14-i486-2.tgz
So I guess you'd probably need module-init-tools 0.9.14 or later.....
Good luck :)
