You can complain all you want, but without details as to how your setup exists presently, you cannot expect to get any useful advice. Interception caching / transparent proxying requires careful coordination between both the cache server and the gateway router; this may be where your setup is falling down. Without a description of how the relevant parts of your network are structured, you cannot expect to get any really useful replies. > > I may sound pathetic but im really desperate to learn on this matter. > Im hoping you can find in your heart to help a fellow here. Thank you. You sound doubly pathetic in making a post like this one. You've wasted three whole paragraphs whining when you should have given information that could have allowed someone to give you some useful advice. In the absence of any information as to what your setup looks like, the best I can do is point you to this document, which I hope that you have tried to read before: http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/FAQ/FAQ-17.html If there are parts of this document that you don't quite understand, don't hesitate to ask, but please, cease your dramatics and stick to what problems you have and the details of your setup. Forgive the acidic tone of this post, but if you expect to get some serious help, stick to the problems and possible solutions. Appeals to your pitiful state will only earn you more scorn than help. -- Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Official Website: http://plug.linux.org.ph Searchable Archives: http://marc.free.net.ph .
