perhaps the z8 is too primitive for gcc to build code for it. i AM aware 
of a 68hc11 target for gcc.

i think the z8 running under emulation under linux would be slower than 
running under windows. regarding the p133.. get yourself a new processor 
and motheboard at least! prices are almost unbelievably low these days..
