does the ZiLOG emulator work under the linux environment?

try this link:

how does the UP EEE dept use linux on microcontroller design?

the only linux distro that i could think of, with regards to microcontroller is "ucLinux" which mostly targets the motorola hardware (http://www.uclinux.org/).

ok, if you're going to use a spec other than uclinux
target hardware, (most likely) only the development tools
would be available on the Linux/Unix environment in order
to build the necessary ROM image & _not_ the Linux kernel.

??? you don't wan't to run the Dev Studio on your P133 using Windows? or you don't want it to run on your P133 either using win32 or Linux?

think again, using compilers other than the ones
provided by zilog might produced applications that
are not optimized for Z80 hardware.
