Check this site, http://www.freeswan.org or www.freeswan.com.ca and read carefully the road warrior set-up. If you plan to roll-out FreeSWAN VPN for telecomuter using Windows XP or Win2K, you have to implement PPTP, L2TP and L2F for dial-up VPN's. It is better to use IPSec for LAN-LAN and L2F for Dial-up VPN's. Be sure you've set-up first the RADIUS for L2F Dial-up VPN's.

Have anyone of you setup a VPN server (freeswan) which have a telecommuter
clients using winXP or Win2K?
