hi ppl,
i have an extra gpu card (Inno3d GeForce FX 5200 8x) and
was thinking of installing this into my other antique PC (Epox 6VBA --
VIA Apollo Pro chipset)
which has the original AGP 1.0 slot (3.3v keyed, AGP 1x/2x only).
the gpu has a Universal AGP connector (1.5v and 3.3v keys)
and is supposed to work in AGP 2x/4x/8x mode. it will physically fit
into the AGP 1.0 slot. the Inno3d site and support staff is not very
helpful.
theoretically, it should work and not bomb
out, but i just like to have 2nd opinion and more importantly
like to ask if any of you PC junkies have successfully done this.
sayang kasi yung card eh atsaka ang hirap naman ibenta ito dahil
ang pangit ng performance nito sa games.
