AFAIK, most modern distributions already come with large file summit
already enabled for most system tools and applications that support it.
SuSE 7.0 onwards, Debian Woody and later, and Red Hat 7.1 and after all
have LFS support in this way, with a few gotchas, of course.  I imagine
that no distro maker in their right mind would today create a
distribution that doesn't have LFS incorporated into all major packages.
