Oh absolutely, mixing and matching different package systems is just asking
for trouble. For the server I am deploying, I don't expect the sysadmin
to do any installing of new packages (at least in the beginning) and that is
why I am willing to consider people who have not used Slackware before, but
I'd still like to get opinions on how people out there would view such a
scenario.
