here is a sample log when my Epson LX-300 stopped printing a job.  it
says: 
"Unable to send print file to printer: No space left on device".  I'm
using the Epson 9-pin driver

I [02/Jun/2004:11:30:12 +0800] Started filter
/usr/lib/cups/filter/pstoraster (PID 2241) for job 11.

/usr/lib/cups/filter/rastertoepson (PID 2243) for job 11.
I [02/Jun/2004:11:30:12 +0800] Started backend
/usr/lib/cups/backend/epson (PID 2244) for job 11.
E [02/Jun/2004:11:30:13 +0800] [Job 11] Back-channel read error -
Invalid argument!
E [02/Jun/2004:11:31:12 +0800] [Job 11] Unable to send print file to
printer: No space left on device

i'm using cups 1.1.20 on slackware-current
