You seem confused today, Kelsey... Certainly you would know that the difference between Free Software and Open Source Software is purely ideological: the Free Software movement stresses the ideology of software freedom, whereas the Open Source movement stresses the advantages of the open development model. The distinction is in the movements, and not what these movements produce. Software whose source is available and whose license grants the freedom to study, modify, and redistribute is the product of both movements. So if you're referring to the software, either term is fine. "Commercial Free Software" is not an oxymoron, as you seem to imply. Remember: Free as in Freedom, not Free as in price. http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/selling.html -- dido "When I gave food to the poor, they called me a saint; but when I asked why people are poor, they called me a communist." -- Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Official Website: http://plug.linux.org.ph Searchable Archives: http://marc.free.net.ph .
