Well I don't want to sound defeatist. I believe OSS has a bright
future in this country --- but it's going to be private companies and
universities that have, and will continue, to spearhead the adoption
of OSS. Let's not count on the bankrupt (in all ways -- both fiscal
and morally) government to "do the right thing."
