that is true, but some people get warm and fuzzy feelings from getting
training from people who ostensibly are more "qualified."

besides, in a corporate setting, the "hobby mentality" you've
mentioned (which we all know and love) sometimes isn't enough --
corporations aren't interested in hobbies, but getting their people
productive fast.
