For linux training: A used PC, any linux distro, National Bookstore and O'Reilly books and a net connection :) Can't beat that :D
Sorry, can't help it :) My bad.
that is true, but some people get warm and fuzzy feelings from getting training from people who ostensibly are more "qualified."
besides, in a corporate setting, the "hobby mentality" you've mentioned (which we all know and love) sometimes isn't enough -- corporations aren't interested in hobbies, but getting their people productive fast.
That's why I apologized :) My reply was a plain troll :) Won't happen again, promise :D
I keep forgetting/ignoring the corporate part of computing. All I know and care about is learning from my bedroom boxen.
Getting back to the original post, and as a question on my part, would online training (from the several web-based centers available) be feasible in a corporate setting? Would it be more expensive in the long run?
