Is there any effect if i have a slackware (current) install with a
regular reiserfs partition and then upgraded to kernel 2.6.7 with
reiserfs extended attributes (security labels etc)? My files
occassionally get corrupted and some of my programs crashes.
Sometimes a cp -rf causes my computer to reboot by itself? And then
when I booted with kernel 2.4.26, copying/ backup up my files from one
reiserfs partition to another caused some corruption in the process.
I'm trying to pinpoint what messed up my machine.

arghh... i should have sticked to slackare-10.0 =)
