we are using a linux bridge firewall in production. it's passing
almost 100mbit of traffic. that good enough for you? ;)

standard 2.4.22 (?) kernel with HTB inbuilt, using tc from
that-Polish-or-Czech-site. store the configurations in mysql and use a
perl script to built the tc script.

my web-based configuration scripts are an early version of what we're
using now in production. it's here:
http://myphotos.dyndns.org/shaper-0.01.tar.gz

it also does packet-sampling so you can look at the bandwidth
utilization of specific subnets of your network (not too accurate
though.. haven't had the time to track down this problem, but it seems
to be a problem inherent in the libpcap packet-capture library).
