Hello Sammy,

AFAIK, PLUG membership is different with members of the mailing list of PLUG.
Please correct me if I'm wrong especially to those OLDBIES out there.

There were attempts/movements/plans to organize and make PLUG a true
organization before. Unfortunately, di matuloy-tuloy for the following
reasons that I know so far:

[1] officers are not that active
[2] active sa umpisa, bigla na lang maglalaho
[3] there's no accomplished project organized by any of the officers
[4] lots of plans but without accomplishments
[5] they didn't addressed the issue of the Constitution and By-Laws
[6] either tech talks or business interests lang and didn't worked of making
PLUG as a true organization
[7] no extra efforts to organize PLUG

There were projects conducted before but organized by the community or group
of volunteers.

With regards to information dissemination, it's our Secretary who will do the
job and post it in the plug-org mailing list for now. But soon, IMHO, issues,
information and other organizational related discussions will only be for it's
members. The mailing lists will still remain as a technical help and
exchanging of technical ideas for the community.
