You can only use a 5110 as modem under M$ Windows using the Nokia Data
Suite. You might want to forget about using it under Linux. You might
want to get a GSM modem (or a handset that has one built-in like
Ericsson R320, R520, T28, etc.)

While it's true that you can dial to another ISP, the question is, is
that ISP also a Sun subscriber. AFAIK, unlimited calls only apply to
Sun-to-Sun calls. I doubt if data calls are even covered by this.
(Yes, the telco can distinguish voice calls from data and fax calls.
It's part GSM standards. And take note, I separated data from fax
because they're treated by the network differently as well.) I believe
the promo only covers voice calls, not data calls (CSD, not GPRS). So
will have to pay normal rates if you ever make data calls.
