AFAIK, unlimited calls only apply to Sun-to-Sun calls. I doubt if data calls are even covered by this. (Yes, the telco can distinguish voice calls from data and fax calls. It's part GSM standards. And take note, I separated data from fax because they're treated by the network differently as well.) I believe the promo only covers voice calls, not data calls (CSD, not GPRS).
