Hi,
Quite a number of times I have loaded a cdrom into my drive only to find out that the said disk has damage or unreadable. But Linux will just keep on and try to read the disk making it impossible to eject the disk. unmounting will not work as it is not mounted yet. What process should I kill to stop linux from trying to read the disk hence allowing for an eject command.
thanks for the help.
