Hi Leng! :) First off, questions like this should go to the ph-linux-newbie list. :) Anyways, Distrowatch ranking is IIRC just based on a distro page's hits. Features, well... Since it's Debian-based, you can try getting packages from Debian's repository (this isn't really recommended but I've tried it.. hehe..). Ubuntu has a live-cd version and has an installable version. It's more like a "trimmed-down" version of Debian.
