Hi,

This is not a direct answer to your question but it's also worth
considering for your laptop investment:

HP's NX5000 Linux notebook

Does anybody know a good AMD64 powered notebook that has good support
on Linux OS (Ubuntu Hoary 64-bit preferably)? I'm still looking for a
good bargain besides Acer's Ferarri notebook (too flashy for a simple
geek, hehehe).
