How would you define relay?
If you relay something, can you do some 'peeping' on the object you relay?
If your answer is yes, therefore you can do filtering on relay. BTW, relay!=filter, they are totally different entity.
If you know how DNS, SMTP works, definitely you can imagine something that will work.
Sorry for being a bit "clueless" about this setup... But I was under the impression that Ignacio Sorita wanted to be able to examine the contents of the mail received before it was passed to some other host. :)
