The Philippine Linux Users' Group would have its Second Quarterly Free
Technical Seminar the 23rd of April 2005, Saturday, from 9 AM to 5 PM
at the 1st Flr Audio-Visual Room, Asia Pacific College, Humabon Place,
Magallanes, Makati City.

Hereunder are the tentative list of speakers and their topics. A final
list of speakers inclusive of schedules would be posted within the
next few days.

Title: Professional Network Monitoring Made Easy with Nagios
Speaker: William Emmanuel Yu

Title: Jabber Messaging Service: Administration and Programming
Speakers: Ariz Jacinto and Arnel Perez

Title: IPTables
Speaker: Gabriel Briones III

Title: Application Proxying with Zorp
Speaker: Mike Liguit

Title: Cooking the Linux Kernel 2.6
Speaker: Eduardo Tongson

Certificates shall be made available for a modest fee to interested attendees.

Sign-up page shall be brought up within the week of the free
technical seminar.

A general assembly shall also be held after the technical seminars.
Organizational matters such as finalized membership guidelines will be
announced and forwarding of constitutional amendments and other
policies will be discussed.

Corporate sponsorships for this event are mostly welcome.
