i have not done this in particular. However, generally, if you can get the data out somehow, you can get mrtg to graph it for you. solve the problem in stages. and, as fooler suggests, provide more information. if you don't provide relevant information the problem space is too large and the only ones who will give you solutions will be the ones who are guessing. 1. do users login with password? if they don't, there's going to be extra work involved in mapping ip addresses and surfing times to whoever the user was at that IP (if you're using DHCP and you have a good inventory of MAC addresses, or if you're using fixed IPs and people *never* change their IPs). 2. in your squid logs, can you map the particular request to a particular user? you have to be able to do that. if you can't then you might as well give up now. 3. what do you want to graph in mrtg? total bandwidth used? does that include cache hits? tiger -- Gerald Timothy Quimpo http://bopolissimus.blogspot.com [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Public Key: "gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys 672F4C78" "SELinux can do that sort of thing quite easily.
