I already tried Ubuntu 4.10 and talagang tested ko na may problema ang GRUB nila. This also holds true for Bayanihan Linux 3.1.
I tried this extensively across many machines, we can't blame the distro, it's the GRUB version they used at the time that has problem. I'm not sure about other distros. With Ubuntu 4.10 and Bayanihan Linux 3.1, I can attest to it's faulty GRUB package.
