You gotta unlock and run the installer.

Unlocking/rooting is not acceptable. Windows "secure boot" should be avoided. Legacy bios preferred over UEFI.

The only absolute processor requirement is an appropriate Debian port exists. Linux being pre-installed is a plus.

I'm beginning to suspect that "handheld" may be a better description than "tablet". Anything that folds is out.

Anything sold as a "smartphone" is out although that physical form factor is desirable.

Input shall be touch screen or using stylus. A plus would being able to plug in a USB keyboard.
