So, I have a 100 series ASUS lga 1151 motherboard, and haven't bought the cpu for it. The 100 series chipset (H110) was made for the 6700k cpus, but the 7700k, etc are backwards compatible. The 6700k is a Skylake (which just got the latest spectre microcode update) Would you get a 6700k or a 7700k? (actually, I'm gonna go 6600k or 7600k due to financial reasons (Amazon Gift Cards!), but figured I'd relate to the current thread)
