The content is pretty dated. Maybe reduce it to >a single page describing the meetings and clinic? We don't have time before OSCON to get new photos, but I don't think new photos are necessary. Consider that most people picking up a flyer don't know anything about PLUG, so they won't know that the photos are dated. But getting new photos might be added to our to-do list. It also occurred to me that a pic of us at the meeting with Linus Torvalds might be excellent. I know people took pictures there, maybe someone can e-mail some to me. As for the text, I can see a couple minor changes that would be good, like adding your name with Dave Mandel as persons in charge. But overall, I say stay with what it is. Making a separate sheet with the meeting list from our website would be good. I'm thinking just 8.5x11, double sided, nice font and typesetting, heavy paper (I have some white 32# paper). >> Also, do we have business cards? I'm less concerned about the photo than the text on the back of the business card. I did the most recent re-design and it is OK, except it is a little confusing because it is not clear that the items in the left column refer to things in the right column. But we don't have time to re-print a new design. I hope you can find some. In my experience more people pick up the card than the flyer. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
