Sure. There's little that will lead the reader astray. Regardless, there
are abundant web sites (one is, I think, unixcraft or nixcraft) that have
expanded man pages with examples. A quick search on DDG for 'linux kill'

My search terms had been of form
keyword tutorials
HOWEVER
keyword examples
seems to give a more appropriate list.
Using
dd examples
as search term gives very useful input for both my "imaging a partition"
thread and, when following internal link, satisfies my "survey of backup
philosophy" query.
